Typical duties:
· Advise and represent clients in administrative energy regulatory proceedings before FERC and/or state regulatory commissions with a focus on electric, natural gas, or liquids issues.
· Review agency dockets and report important filings to clients.
· Work directly with Managing Member in developing legal, policy, and strategic advice for clients related to representation in administrative proceedings with the goal of taking on increasing responsibility to manage complex cases independently.
· Interface directly with clients to assist in implementation of strategic legal and policy advice.
· Attend hearings, conferences, and negotiations with counterparties as representative of client issues.
· Attend national trainings and conferences.
· Develop and provide compliance training for clients.
· Significant opportunity to assist in developing a future-oriented practice focused on emerging energy areas.
· 1200 – 1600 billable hours annually.
