Pollack Badawi Group is assisting a DC based AmLaw 200 Law firm in their search for a Privacy and Cybersecurity Special Counsel. This is a dedicated Special Counsel and a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated cybersecurity matters alongside leaders in the industry. The Special Counsel will represent clients before agencies involved in supply chain and cybersecurity, including the Department of Homeland Security’s National Risk Management Center the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience in cybersecurity and privacy law, including experience handling security breach matters. Experience developing strategies to address complex security and privacy issues and preparing for and responding to cyber incidents and interacting with regulators and law enforcement is strongly preferred. Attorneys with experience at the US Department of Homeland security and prior law firm experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
